KAGE: Last Cure
Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026 · Updated for version 2.1 · Applies to the Android app com.dosear.kage

In short

  • Dosear Studios does not collect or receive any personal data. There are no ads, no analytics of our own and no in-app purchases.

  • Your progress is saved on your device.

  • If you sign in with Google Play Games, your progress is also backed up to your Google account through Google Play Games. This is optional.

1. Who we are

KAGE: Last Cure (“the game”) is developed and published by Dosear Studios (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game handles and how.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect, receive, store or share any personal or sensitive information. The game itself does not request the Android internet permission and has no servers of its own. The only third-party component is the Google Play Games Services SDK, described in section 4. There are no SDKs for advertising, our own analytics or crash reporting.

When you buy the game, Google Play handles the payment. We receive a sales report from Google but never your payment details.

3. Data stored on your device

To let you continue where you left off, the game keeps a save file in the app’s private storage on your device. It contains only game data:

  • level progress, collected items, coins, experience and achievements;

  • purchased in-game equipment (bought with in-game coins, never real money);

  • your settings, such as sound volume, control size, difficulty and battery saver.

It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its storage in Android settings. Choosing New Game or Reset progress in the game also resets it.

4. Google Play Games sign-in and cloud save

The game uses Google Play Games Services, provided by Google, so you can keep your progress in your Google account and restore it on another phone or after reinstalling. Signing in is optional; the game works fully without it.

  • Sign-in: when you sign in, Google shares your Play Games player name and player ID with the game so it can show who is signed in. We do not receive your email address.

  • Cloud save: the same game data listed in section 3, plus a short description (for example your ninja level and total play time), is stored in your Google account using Play Games Saved Games. Only you can read it, and only from this game.

  • Google’s own data: Google may collect usage and diagnostics data about the Play Games Services SDK to keep it working. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and the Play Games Services data disclosure.

Dosear Studios has no access to your Google account or to Google’s servers. To delete your cloud save, open your Play Games profile, find KAGE: Last Cure and delete its data, or delete it from your Google Account. Resetting progress in the game while signed in also replaces the cloud save.

5. Delete your KAGE: Last Cure data

You can delete everything the game stores about you at any time. No request to Dosear Studios is needed.

  • Cloud save (Google Play Games): open the Google Play Games app, go to your profile, choose KAGE: Last Cure and select the option to delete the game’s data. You can also manage Play Games data from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com. Alternatively, while signed in, choose Settings → Reset progress in the game, which replaces your cloud save with an empty one.

  • Data on your phone: uninstall the game, or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → KAGE: Last Cure → Storage.

Deleted data is removed and not kept by Dosear Studios, because we never hold a copy. Google may keep some Play Games records as described in its own privacy policy. If you need help, email info@dosear.com.

6. Device backup

If you have turned on Android’s own backup service, Android may include the game’s save file in your device backup so progress can be restored on a new phone. That backup is made by Android under your Google account settings, not by the game, and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in your device’s backup settings.

7. Permissions

  • Vibrate — short haptic feedback when you hit enemies or take damage. You can switch Vibration off in the game’s settings.

The game requests no other permissions. Cloud save runs inside Google Play services on your phone, which handles the connection to Google. The game does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

8. Children

The game contains stylised action violence against zombies and is not directed at children under 13. Dosear Studios collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the game changes how data is handled, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to Dosear Studios at info@dosear.com.
